Renew your authorisation as an Automist Preinstaller. The first fix, the installation of the power and water supply, must be carried out by a qualified electrician and plumber. Electrical work must meet the NICEIC standards, and plumbing work must meet the Chartered Institute of Plumbing and Heating Engineers (CIPHE) standards. Approved Contractor Persons (ACPs) of the CIPHE can self-certify under the Water Supply (Water Fittings) Regulations 1999 and the Water Bylaws 2000 (Scotland).
