Renew your authorisation as an Automist Designer. A Designer has a good understanding of the building regulations and associated guidance documents, such as ADB and BS 9991, is responsible for creating the design specification for Automist (layout drawings, interaction with other systems) and liaising with the customer in response to the requirements specification. Designers shall be fully trained to assess the best location for the Automist spray heads, factoring in the shape and type of room and potential fire loads. They must update the design if the Commissioner Installer identifies any inaccuracies on site which may obstruct the spray discharge.

N.B. This module has an assignment in which you will be required to produce and upload a pdf of an Automist Design produced in line with the latest DIOM. This must be created in the layout tool (https://layout.plumis.com).
